What is changing?
No commitments for newly purchased Bare Metal and Eco servers:
- "Commitment Duration" will no longer be a selection during the ordering process.
- The "Commit and get a discount" button will not be available in the OVHcloud Control Panel.
- Customers will not be able to modify the duration of an existing commitment; only cancellation will be available. If you wish to cancel your existing commitment, follow these instructions.
What if I currently have a commitment on my server?
Customers are able to modify the duration of an existing commitment. The commitment will remain in place at its current pricing until you cancel it. If you wish to cancel your existing commitment, follow these instructions.
What are the new billing options for a new server?
The payment options for a new Bare Metal or Eco server will be:
- Month-to-month (no discount)
- Upfront for 12 months (with a 5% discount)
- Upfront for 24 months (with a 5% discount)
