Storing an SSH Key in the OVHcloud Control Panel
In order to store an SSH key in the Control Panel to be used for a public cloud instance, we need to log in to the OVHcloud Control Panel. After logging in, click Public Cloud on the left-hand sidebar. Select your project from the drop-down menu. Next, click Settings and then SSH Keys. Click Add an SSH key.
You will now be able to add the public key to the new popup that appears on your screen. You can name the key anything you choose. The name is a shortcut to help you identify a specific key, should you need to store multiple keys.
Note: You can store RSA or ECDSA keys in the OVHcloud Control Panel for Public Cloud.
Click the Add button and the key will be saved.
Now that you have finished adding your key, you are ready to use it when deploying an instance. Let's take a quick look at what that would look like.
Using an SSH Key with a New Instance

The screenshot below shows the menu used to deploy a new instance. In Step 3, when you choose your OS, you can also select any keys stored on your project to be installed on your new instance.
