As part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with high-performance, sustainable, and secure hardware solutions, we are changing our Eco server offerings.
We are excited to announce that as we continue to follow our standard hardware lifecycle refresh with our recent 3rd generation of ADVANCE servers, we are now introducing the new line of Eco servers. This full range of servers offers performant hardware at a competitive price and will replace the current servers you have been using with new model names that offer similar features and capabilities. These new model names follow our mission to be a sustainable cloud provider.
Our Eco range servers are sold on a first come first serve basis leveraging pre-existing stock, we cannot predict when servers will be back in stock.
These changes will NOT affect services you have already purchased. However, when purchasing new servers, you should keep these name changes in mind; the same name as a previous purchase will not equate to the same performance.
For example:
If you had purchased an ADV-1 server before September 12, 2024, on September 12 you would see it re-listed as an Eco server named RISE-1. It will still have similar configuration options and capabilities with some differences.
However, if you purchase an ADV-1 server on September 12 (or after) you will see a new and different server with improved hardware, configuration options, and capabilities than what you purchased the previous day.
